Ben is known for his ability to evolve ideas into reality and accelerate others through the art of connection. He believes that nobody cares about your great ideas, but they care about how you make those ideas happen. Ben's entrepreneurial ventures include Iowa 3v3 Soccer Challenge, Jet Set Studio, The Hunt Zone, FliteBrite, OpenOpen, and his latest book, You Don't Need This Book. Ben is also a leader in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, through his involvement in the nationwide movement called 1 Million Cups. After leading the Des Moines community for 5 years, he now collaborates with the Kauffman Foundation as the 1MC Midwest Regional Rep, connecting and supporting 1MC organizers from 50+ communities throughout 12 different states.
